Ellie Goulding releases her fifth studio album in an eco-friendly style and repeats her collaboration with Calvin Harris.

Ellie Goulding is finally back with her fifth studio album Higher Than Heaven. After 3 years focusing on writing and promoting “Fitter. calmer Stronger.”, her first book, creating a beverage company called Served and, of course, being a mother (she gave birth to her first child, Arthur, in 2021), she is poised to rise to the top of the charts. ready once more.

For those who followed his career from “Lights” (2010) to his latest “Brightest Blue”, there is much to love and many changes in his lyrics and musical style. The Deluxe version of “Higher Than Heaven” has 16 songs that navigate between pop, dance and 80s references.

For the next album, Ellie had a cast of the best music producers of the last decade: Greg Kurstin (Sia, Maggie Rogers, Elton John), Jessie Shatkin (Charli XCX, Years & Years), Koz (Sam Ryder, Madonna, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Wells (Halsey, Yungblud).

The first song released is “By the End of the Night”, which came out right after “Miracle”, a feature film with Calvin Harris, who also worked with her on “I Need Your Love” and “Outside”, two of the songs. Of the singer. great successes It’s no surprise that “Miracle” entered the Official UK Chart at #3 and is currently #1 on the UK iTunes and Spotify charts.

“By the end of the night” has a mix of everything fans love about Ellie’s work: dance beats, romantic lyrics, and her unique voice. “I feel like we’ve all been through a lot in the last few years, we’re still processing everything. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like we need music that lifts us up and makes us feel good and that’s exactly how I feel about ‘By The End Of The Night’. It gives me a sense of euphoric and sensual escape, like being on a dance floor on another planet… something I was definitely drawn to in the late 80s… which this song could have easily come from!” Ellie explains .

“Midnight Dreams”, the opening track of the new album, is produced by KOZ and The 23rd.

If in “Brightest Blue” the singer only released three singles, it seems that it will be difficult for her to choose which tracks to promote, since they all have something in particular with the potential to be a hit on the dance floor, such as “Like a Savior”, “Cure for Love” and “How Long”, which has a slower, more Latin rhythm, produced by Watt (Shawn Mendez, Camila Cabello, Kygo) and Happy Perez (Camila Cabello, Post Malone).

Prior to the album’s official release, he shared with fans “Love Goes On,” “Higher than Heaven,” and “Easy Lover,” featuring Big Sean.

He also filmed an Amazon Prime special at the world famous botanical garden, Kew Gardens, in London. She performs her greatest hits and also talked about her relationship as an environmental activist.

Ellie’s concern for the future of the planet is present in how “Higher Than Heaven” will be released, as specified on its official website. The CD cover is made with FSC-certified card and packaging made from renewable plants; the vinyl is made from recycled cardboard and a recycled, recyclable bag and there’s even an ECO-MIX vinyl available made from a 100% recycled color compound that would otherwise have gone to waste. Wherever possible, each item of packaging material is manufactured using 100% recycled cardboard and reduced use of plastic.

Her path in music has allowed her to experience different styles, from her beginnings as an indie-pop singer to performing at the biggest festivals in the world, with “Higher Than Heaven” she shows a more powerful voice than ever.

The album will be released on April 7 and Ellie has announced a UK and European tour planned for October.
