ASCAP Experience Will Hit Los Angeles with Top Songwriters and Producers


This ASCAP Experience will hit Avalon on June 21 in Los Angeles First in-person iteration since 2019 Celebrating, educating and connecting promising songwriters and composers.

The informative event will host an impressive line-up of top creators such as: Sarah Hudson (Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello) and Leon Thomas III (Ariana Grande, Rick Ross), rapper and producer Hitmaka (Big Sean, Nicki Minaj), singer-songwriter and producer Steph Jones (Selena Gomez, Kelsea Balleri), songwriter and producer Darrell Brown (Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes), producer Neff-U (Justin Bieber, Sia) and more will be announced.

Formerly known as the ASCAP “I Make Music” EXPO, the 2023 ASCAP Experience boasts a series of curated, motivational and informative panels on songwriting and music making. This year’s panels are “Hit Makers”, “Social Listening: Building a Music Career in the Age of Social Media”, “Hear Your Voice: Live Song Feedback”, “Writers Contest” and “Celebrating 50 Years of Hip-Hop” A private conversation with some of its influential writers.

Previous speakers at the conference include Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Katy Perry, Tom Petty, Meghan Trainor, Muni Long, Greg Kurstin, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, D-Nice, Chris Stapleton, Questlove, Vincent, King Princess, Lee Ann Womack, Wyclef Jean, Jermaine Dupri, Melissa Etheridge, Hans Zimmer, Michael Giacchino and many more.

2023 ASCAP Experience tickets are available for ASCAP members for $35 in advance or $50 for the day of the event.
