“Succession” Composer Nicholas Britell Secretly Signs Distribution Agreement

composer Nicholas BritellAlong with films for Barry Jenkins (“Moonlight,” “If Beale Street Could Talk”) and Adam McKay (“The Big Short,” “Vice,” “Don’t Look Up”), HBO’s “subrogationsigned a new label services agreement with Secretly Distribution.

Collaborating with Emmy-winning composer, pianist and producer Secretly “Streamed: Season 4 (HBO Original Series Soundtrack)” on global streaming services — only hours later highly anticipated series finale released – through the composer’s newly launched edition of Lake George Music Group.

“Releasing music through my own label has been my dream for a long time, and I’m so excited that the final season of ‘Succession’ will be our label’s first broadcast,” Britell said in a statement. “Lake George Music Group is proud to partner with the team at Secretly.”

The company will work directly with the composer on a number of projects and campaigns, the latest addition to Secretly’s growing real estate in the music world for film and television. They have previously distributed music for A24 (“Everything Everywhere All At Once”) and Sufjan Stevens’ Asthmatic Kitty, Sylvan Esso’s Psychic Hotline, Dr. They have supported other shows by the artist, such as Dog’s We Buy Gold Records.

Joining a seven-year stint at TMWRK, Babnew will run new Gold Theory client Beach Fossils alongside Vitalo. Dubois started his career at WME working for artists like Outkast and Nine Inch Nails. In 2020, working with clients Hana Vu and julie, she started her own artist management company and brought it to Gold Theory, where she will manage, along with Vitalo, new clients Deafheaven and MSPAINT.

Collins will continue to oversee SESAC’s network of composers and publishers, which includes Christophe Beck, Danny Lux, Randy Newman and many more.

+ Wu Tang Clan And De La Soul partnered with HiNOTE — a dedicated video service platform — for more than 20 history tours they’ll be doing this fall. The partnership will allow fans to purchase personalized videos from artists while purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster.
