Ticketmaster on Twitter “Taylor Swift is dating | The 09:00 and 11:00 Eras Tour for Paris La Défense Arena has been put on hold.” The ticketing website added that it will continue to “announce people with a new sales hour as soon as possible.” He also said that “all currently unused codes will remain valid”.
The issue appears to be due to a technical glitch in Ticketmaster that is causing people to be unable to login to the website with their passwords. At one point, more than 700,000 fans were in line to buy tickets.
Swift is scheduled to perform at La Défense Arena in Paris on 9, 10, 11 and 12 May 2024 as part of the international Eras Tour. According to a recent report from Pollstar, its journey around the world is expected to be the first tour in operating history to gross one billion dollars, with eventual revenue estimated to be approximately $1.4 billion.
Technical difficulties return to day one of Swift’s Eras Tour On sale in the USAcaused delays, skyrocketing prices and canceling ticket sales. Ticketmaster later canceled the public sale date altogether as all shows had completely sold out.
In a statement to Ticketmaster at the time, Swift said: “I’m not going to make excuses for anyone because we’ve asked them multiple times if they can handle this type of request and we’ve made sure they can. It’s really incredible that 2.4 million people bought tickets but most of them feel like they’ve been attacked for a few months to get them. It really pisses me off.”
